I worked as a Contract Character Artist on MADDEN '15. My entire focus during the project was the updated football players (uniform wrinkle maps, new bodies/proportions, gear, etc.). During my contract I learned how to use Marvelous Designer, a 3D cloth simulation program. I worked mainly on the thin and heavy body types. Our early releases of Colin Kaepernick stunned many people and left others thinking EA had doctored the images. When the game was released, Madden ‘15 earned some of the highest praise the franchise had ever received with over 85 positive critic reviews (scores based on the art/visuals of the game).
